1. Driver's Age
Minimum age for car rentals is 23 years old and maximum is 75 years old.
2. Driving License
The driving licence must be issued one year before vehicle pickup date.
According to the Greek law, all National Driving Licenses issued by the following countries are accepted in Greece: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, & United Kingdom.
Citizens of all other countries should contact the company in order to check if the diploma is accepted in Greece.
3. Payment options
3 Payment options are available
1. Pay online the full amount of the rent.
2. Pay online a 20% deposit and the rest of the rental cost will be covered at the pickup
3. Pay full amount on pick up of the vehicle in cash or by card.
4. Means of payment
The renter is required to provide a credit/debit card, where an amount is withheld as a guarantee for the rental, even if payment is made in cash. The amount is 300€.
5. Booking length & Minimum rental charge
The minimum booking length is two days. If the renter wishes to keep the rental vehicle more from the agreed period, the renter must contact with us in order to change the rental contract and also to be informed for the extra charges that may apply.
6. Fuel Policy
The renter has to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as delivered. If the renter returns the vehicle with less level of fuel than delivered, the renter will be charged the fuel difference. There is no refund if the renter returns the vehicle with more fuel than delivered.
7. 24hrs Road Assistance
All our vehicles are covered by 24hrs road assistance.
8. Mileage
Free mileage is provided.
9. Baby, child and Booster seats
For baby, child or booster seat the price is 3€ a day.
10. Additional driver
One additional driver is free of charge. If you require more than one additional driver the extra cost is 3€/day per driver. The additional driver must accept the same terms & conditions as the main driver.
11. VAT & Taxes
Our rates are final and VAT and all taxes included. No hidden cost.
12. After hours delivery & collection of vehicles
We can deliver and collect the rental vehicle even outside working hours (22:00 – 08:30). The additional cost for this service is 15€.
13. Traffic violations, traffic fines and administrative sanctions
The renter is liable for the payment of all traffic fines and appended administrative sanctions that may result from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during the rental period.
14. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your reservation you have to send a cancellation notice email. If we receive the cancellation notice up to 72 hours prior to the due pickup date and time then there is no cancellation fee. If we receive your cancellation notice up to 48 hours prior to pick up date and time or if you fail to collect the vehicle (“No show”) then there will be no money return.
15. Across the border rentals
Renters are not allowed to take the car outside the Greek borders.
16. Car transport by ferry
For the car’s transport by ferry, the company’s written approval is required.
17. Vehicle cleaning
Your vehicle is delivered clean both externally and internally. When returning the vehicle, the exterior must be in a condition that can be inspected for possible damage. Regarding the interior, in case there are significant stains in the cabin of the vehicle (which do not go away with simple cleaning) then you will be charged 60€ for the biological cleaning of the cabin.
18. Road Accident
In case of a road accident, you have to inform our company immediately and also the police. The police will record the accident, and you have to get a copy of the police report. Without a police report, the renter takes full responsibility.
19. Insurance
C.D.W (Collision Damage Waiver)
Included in the rental price. With this insurance in case of damage the renter’s liability is limited to an excess amount of:
600.00€ for the groups of cars A, B, B Plus, J, M
S.C.D.W (Super Collision Damage Waiver)
This insurance costs 5,90 euro per day. With this insurance in case of damage the renter’s liability is limited to an excess amount of:
200.00€ for the groups of cars A, B, B Plus, J, M
This insurance also covers:
Theft and Fire Protection
Damade to the Glassparts of the vehicle
Replacement in case of breakdown
20. What is not covered by any insurance
Damages because of traffic law violation. Damages because of inappropriate driving or negligence. Damages that occurred because the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Damages caused by an unauthorized driver. Damages in the interior of the car. Loss or Damage or Theft of keys. Loss or Damage of the vehicle’s child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, petrol cap. Damage to the engine through negligence. Damage to the engine by wrong fuel. Damages that occurred because the vehicle was used off-road or on inappropriate roads. Damages that occurred after the agreed return time. Damages caused willfully or recklessly by the renter e.g. (burning out the clutch, burning out the tires, sitting or standing on the bonnet, the roof or the boot lid of the vehicle). Damage caused by accident and our company and police not notified at the time. Damages caused during the commission of criminal acts.
